questions

patience is a virtue
so why are we impatient?
and change inevitable
so why attempt to control it?

when life is unknowns
why manage predictions?
all perfection imperfect
and still we unto detriment seek it?

our emotions are forged equal
yet we cling to the preferable
all thoughts are our own
potentially as boundless as destructive

in false clarity of hindsight
we obscure the journey
though we grow from hard-fought lessons
oft their consequences rejected

then in belief of the tale
we alter a journey's story
in deferral to knowing
we impair our view

to nature's flawed insistence
defend the nurture of deceit
